Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><P><SPAN>NMRipMap is a vector-based polygon map and each polygon is annotated with a suite of attributes on vegetation composition, cover and structure. In 2022-23, a comprehensive review was conducted on the entirety of NMRipMap Version 1.0, with a focus on reconciling content and themes across all years. This review process leveraged high-quality 1-meter resolution ortho-photography from 2020 (NAIP 2020), sourced from the USDA, in conjunction with Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data. Additionally, a combination of past NAIP imagery years played a role in guiding the thorough heads-up quality control process. This effort resulted in the development of Version 2.0 Plus. The integration of LiDAR technology provided a valuable means to directly attribute vegetation height and cover, enhancing the accuracy of our mapping. Where feasible, we used leaf-on/leaf-off imagery and Planet data (2017) for evergreen/deciduous tree and shrub differentiation.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV>
